As a student of computer science at Hochschule Bochum, I started working at 9elements in October 2023.
Before that time I was primarily developing back- and frontend code for web applications,
however personal preference wanted me to make the shift to Linux and embedded
- ideally OpenSource - development.
Gladly 9elements gave me the opportunity to do this exact shift in a professional manner with very talented young people from whom I can learn a lot.
OpenBMC - The state of multi-host platform support
Multi-host server platforms got more and more attention in recent time.
Although the hardware is available for a couple of years now, the Linux Foundation
OpenBMC project has just started to get compatible with multi-host platforms
like for example the Yosemite platform.
This lightning talk covers some of the latest progress and developments
made in OpenBMC, the challenges that we are facing and the future plans.
