Zephyr-powered OpenBMC with LittleBMC SOC is developed by Alibaba Cloud

This talk presents a Zephyr-powered OpenBMC(CorelynxV6) with LittleBMC SoC(CMU610) developed by Alibaba Cloud. CorelynxV6 is the first time for OpenBMC powered by Zephyer in the world. It is compatible with all OpenBMC applications, fully supports D-Bus communication, and seamlessly integrates with boost.asio for asynchronous operations. CMU610(Cloud Management Unit) is the first DDRless LittleBMC chip runs OpenBMC sussessfully in the world. CMU610 includes integrated flash memory and PROT support, so no external flash is required for image storage and no dedicated security chip is needed for PROT. This is the total solutions for the AI heterogeneous server, none KVM situation, especially for space‑constrained add‑in card form factors like smart NICs. It will save 80% of system cost, reduce power consumption by 70%, save 60% of system area, and double the number of I3C and ADC interfaces. It's time for us to discuss to setup a OpenBMC working group in Zephyr community and a zephyr working group in OpenBMC community.
